Caitlin Black is a Scottish film director known for an observational and portraiture style. Influenced by the outdoors, Caitlin crafts films that are both sensory and personable, often blending natural lighting, docu-style cinematography, and close, intimate vignettes set against vast backdrops of landscape. Her eye for sensibility has earned her collaborations with global brands such as UEFA, NIVEA, Real Madrid, Strava, and Red Bull.
Caitlin studied at Central Saint Martins in London, and mostly splits her time between Glasgow and London. Her short films have screened at BFI London Film Festival, Berlin Shorts, Norwich, GSFF and the 1905 International Human Rights Film Festival. She is currently in post-production for her next film ‘On The Twelfth Day Of Findom’.
